Work at the King County Journal

Edited and independently designed and laid out "Gary Ridgway: The Green River Killer," published 2003, King County Journal

Available on amazon.com.

The following special section was published on the one-year anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks. As the sole creator, coordinator, designer and editor for this project, I spent weeks developing the concept of "The Measure of a Nation," organizing wire copy and photographs, coordinating our reporters' and photographers' work and directing a campaign to solicit the public's comments. I then edited and organized all content and designed and laid out the section. I also envisioned and executed the in-paper "memorial": A few inches of the top of each page were filled with a continuously running list of the victims' names. This ran across all sections, save for A1.
